Alphabet released its third quarter 2025 earnings report showing $102.3 billion in revenue. This is the first time the company has crossed the $100 billion mark in a single quarter. The result represents about 16 percent year over year growth. The company attributes most of the acceleration to surging demand for AI powered products inside both Google Services and Google Cloud.
Strong Growth Across Search, YouTube and Subscriptions
Google Services produced $87.1 billion in revenue in Q3. This segment includes Search, YouTube ads, subscriptions and devices. Search and related services generated about $56.6 billion. YouTube ads contributed about $10.3 billion. Subscriptions, platforms and devices added about $12.9 billion. Growth across these categories ranged from 14 percent to more than 20 percent year over year.
Google Cloud Delivers 34 Percent Growth
Google Cloud posted $15.2 billion in revenue. This reflects about 34 percent growth compared with the same period last year. Enterprise AI workloads are driving the expansion. Companies are increasing investments in generative AI development, model training and data infrastructure. Alphabet confirmed that AI infrastructure represents the largest source of capital expenditure in 2025.
Sundar Pichai highlighted the scale of AI adoption. Gemini now processes more than 7 billion tokens per minute on average through direct API usage. The Gemini app has surpassed 650 million monthly active users globally. Alphabet raised its capital expenditure forecast to a range of $91 billion to $93 billion for the full year. A large portion is allocated to new data centers and AI hardware.
Why This Shift Creates Pressure for Website Owners
Businesses that depend on organic traffic are entering a new landscape. AI assisted search results rely on structured content, clean technical setups and clear semantic signals. Traditional ranking factors still matter, but AI models require stronger clarity in code, metadata and content relationships.
This makes doing a website audit for better AI visibility an essential step for companies that want to stay competitive. A full audit helps diagnose technical issues, indexing problems, slow loading times and missing content signals. Fixing these issues improves both classic SEO and how AI driven search systems interpret a site.
Anatolii Ulitovskyi, CEO at UNmiss says: “With Google leaning heavily into AI-powered search and cloud services, traditional SEO is no longer enough. A full website audit is essential to ensure your site is optimized for modern indexing and AI readability. Without it your visibility will slip in this new environment.
